@God Thanks For Nothing… #whyme

Posted in Sports by Lithobolos | Tags: , ,

From basketball stars to mixed martial artists, often times athletes point up at the sky in gratitude after scoring an important point or thank Jesus in their after victory interview. I have often heard people say, “Why don’t they blame God if they lose? They can’t have it both ways.” Well, in this age of twitter it seems someone has finally put God in his place… sort of.

After Steve Johnson dropped an easy wide open overtime end-zone pass that would have won his team the game, the Bills receiver seemed to shake his fist at God via twitter:

I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!! AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO…

Rep. Steve King’s Illogical Stance on the 14th Ammendment

Posted in News/Opinion by Lithobolos | Tags: ,

If we lived on the planet Vulcan, Rep. Steve King would be shot dead for being illogical. Recently the Iowa congressman said:

The framers did not consider the babies of illegals when they framed
the 14th amendment because we didn’t have immigration law at the time so

Toying With Gender

Posted in News/Opinion, WTF by Lithobolos | Tags: , , ,

The Mad World blog over at Bitch Magazine had a very interesting, yet equally disturbing, post about toy marketing and how gender roles are pushed on both boys and girls. I know if I have a daughter we will be building space ships with Legos and playing Metal Gear Solid. It makes me so mad to see these commercials limiting girls to taking care of urinating dolls and having epic shopping and makeup adventures.
