Miku Matsumoto Retires!

Horribly sad news that one of the best and most exciting female fighters is retiring. Now we may never see her fight the queen of women’s MMA, Megumi Fujii.

Noooooo! This is a very surprising and sad announcement.
I mean, she’s only 28 and running on a 12-fight win streak! But, as the links point out, she may just need to focus on life right now. So, I hope the best for Miku, and I’m at least glad she’s looking to do an exhibition match (with Mega Megu?) before calling it quits.

Hopefully her retirement isn’t as permanent as it appears. Maybe she could come back in a few years after sorting her life.
